After your initial registration there is a standard short period where we review your registration for financial compliance. We do this for all companies as a way to protect you from potential fraud and keep our community financially compliant. It typically only takes a day or less but sometimes longer if we have to do additional research. We may from time to time ask for additional information to enable us to complete and approve your application.
I got declined!
Firstly, dont worry. Receiving a decline email after registration can be concerning, but it's often due to small issues that are easily addressed. Here are some common reasons why a registration might be declined:
Incomplete Information: Missing information or documents during the registration process, such as identity verification details, may result in a decline. Double-check that all required fields and documents are complete.
Verification Checks: XTRM is required to follow global financial compliance rules to prevent money laundering and other financial crimes. If verification checks on the submitted information raise any red flags, the registration might be declined.
Documentation Issues: The documents provided may not meet the required standards. For instance, they may be expired, not clearly legible, or do not fully match the information on the account.
Policy Compliance: Sometimes, specific policies or restrictions can lead to a declined application, such as restrictions on certain industries or high-risk countries.
If you receive a decline email, it’s usually possible to resolve the issue. You can contact support to understand the specific reason and what steps are needed to complete your registration successfully.
Reason | Description | More Information | Resolution |

Duplicate org accounts are not allowed. | XTRM uses one global organization and multiple regional entities and currency wallets for all companies More Info | Contact any of your controller or master admins to get access to the existing account. |
An email a consumer domain. | Company accounts cannot use consumer domains. Instead, it must be the email of a single person who typically has financial sign-off for the company, and the domain must be your company domain. | Examples of non-acceptable emails: Consumer domains: john@gmail.com jane@yahoo.com. More Info | Register again preferably using a single authorized person's email and with the domain for your company. |
