FUND003 - Fund wallets using bank debits

Currencies Supported: USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD Only

XTRM supports Bank Debit (ACH Pull) funding for selected currencies. This method allows you to pull funds directly from your bank account into your XTRM wallet, eliminating the need to initiate an external wire or ACH credit.


What Is Bank Debit?

Bank Debit is a payment method in which XTRM initiates a request to pull funds from your bank account. This differs from traditional bank transfers (such as wire or ACH credit), where you initiate the payment through your bank.

Getting Started with Bank Debit

To use the Bank Debit method, follow these two steps:


1. Get Approved for XTRM Advanced Services

You must be approved to access advanced funding options.

2. Link Your Bank Account for Bank Debit

You can link your account using one of two methods:


Option A: Automated Bank Linking


  1. Log in to your XTRM company account.

  2. Navigate to Fund > Bank Debit.

  3. Select the wallet you want to fund and click "Link New Bank for Bank Debit."

  4. Use Plaid to securely log into your U.S. bank account and verify ownership.

  5. After successful login, you’ll be redirected back to the XTRM screen.

  


Pending Status:

Your linked bank will appear as "Pending." This is normal—approval is typically completed within 24 hours, after which you’ll be able to fund directly from that account.



Option B: Manual Bank Linking (Slower)

If you cannot use Plaid or your currency is not listed, use the Microdeposit Method:


For USD Accounts:

  • Two small deposits will be sent to your bank account (within 1–3 business days).
  • Return to the platform to enter the deposit amounts and complete verification.


For CAD, GBP, EUR, and AUD:

  • You’ll be required to complete a DocuSign agreement.
  • Approval typically takes 2–5 business days after submission.




How to Use Bank Debit to Fund Wallets

Once your bank account is approved:

  1. Log in to your XTRM company account.
  2. Select Fund > Bank Debit.
  3. Choose the approved bank account and wallet to fund.
  4. Complete the form and submit the request.



A pending inbound transaction will be created. Funds typically arrive within 4–5 business days, at which point: 

  • The status will update from Pending to Completed

  • Your wallet will be credited

  • You will receive an email confirmation
